Our furniture settings and lounges all have high quality durable weather proof easy to clean cushions - filled with a Dacron fibre, high density foam or a combination of both to retain shape and withstand the elements. All outdoor cushions are made to be highly resistant to water, fading and mould.

What is DACRON?

Dacron is a trademark for a polyester fiber. Dacron is a condensation polymer obtained from ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid. Its properties include high tensile strength, high resistance to stretching, both wet and dry, and good resistance to degradation by chemical bleaches and to abrasion. The continuous filament yarn is used in curtains, dress fabrics, high-pressure fire hoses, men’s shirts, and thread. The staple fiber is ideal for mixing with wool in men’s and women’s suits, as well as in dress fabrics, knitted wear, and washable woven sportswear.

Care & Maintenance for your Cushions

Whilst all cushions are weather resistant, you can prolong the life of the fabric by bringing the cushions indoors when not in use or through winter months, purchasing a cushion box or covering the setting/lounge. Ask about our custom made covers!
